Nicole Curran, the wife of Golden State Warriors owner has said she received death threats on social media after she was recorded speaking to Jay-Z courtside with wife Beyoncé looking into the distance.

The clip of Nicole Curran leaning over to speak to Jay-Z at the NBA playoff game between the Warriors and the Toronto Raptors, with Beyoncé sitting between the two, was shared on social media.

Curran told ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne that “I’ve never experienced cyberbullying like this. I can’t believe our players go through this. That kids go through this.”

The reason for the death threats was that Beyonce supposedly looked annoyed while Ms. Curran was asking if they wanted a drink.

You don’t just speak to the King and Queen! Beyonce has a fanatic fanbase known as the “Beyhive” who would, as it turns out, murder people for annoying their Queen. Even if she was just probably bored. Who wouldn’t be bored at a Basketball game?
